Celebrate your community heroes

Show a hidden hero their hard work is appreciated by nominating them for a Volunteer Swale Award.

The annual awards are once again being organised by Swale Borough Council to recognise the hard work of those special individuals who give their time to put something back in to their community.

Cllr Andrew Bowles, leader of the council, said:

"We are lucky to have so many people in the borough who are so generous at giving their time to others.

"Each and every one of them deserves a huge thank you, and I hope people will join us in showing our appreciation for their hard work by nominating them for an award so we can give them the recognition they are due.

"If you know an exceptional volunteer or team of volunteers who have gone above and beyond, please help us say thank you by nominating them for a Volunteer Swale award.”

This year the categories are:

One person from all the nominations will be selected as the winner for our Community Inspiration Award.

Nominations are open until Midnight Friday 15 December 2017. There are two ways to nominate that special individual or team:
