Statement of Community Involvement
The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out our approach for involving the community and statutory partners in the preparation and revision of development plan documents and planning applications.

February 2021 update
As a result of the current government coronavirus (Covid-19) guidance, the Council are not able to meet the requirements of the SCI regarding the availability of hard copies of planning policy documents. As a consequence, the Council have produced a SCI Addendum, which sets out temporary changes in respect of the inspection of planning policy documents. The temporary SCI Addendum will apply while Covid-19 restrictions are in place.
