A New Day Festival: application for a Premises Licence

This consultation closes on Monday 19 April, 2021.

A New Day Festival Ltd have made an application for a premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 for an annual four day music festival between July and August.

For 2021, the proposed dates of the festival are between Thursday 19 August and Sunday 22 August.

If the licence is granted, it will allow A New Day Festival Ltd to provide live and recorded music, late night refreshment and sell alcohol at the premises listed below:

  • on Thursday 19 August, 2021 between 7pm to 10pm
  • between Friday 20 August and Sunday 22 August, 2021 between 12pm midday and 11:30pm

Taking part

If you want to comment on A New Day Festival's premises licence application, email licensing@swale.gov.uk. You'll need to respond by Monday 19 April, 2021.

If you object to the application it must be on the grounds of the licensing objectives which are:

  • prevention of crime and disorder
  • protection of public safety
  • prevention of public nuisance
  • protection of children from harm
