Notice

Notice is hereby given that Boughton and Dunkirk Neighbourhood Plan Group has submitted a proposed neighbourhood development plan to Swale Borough Council. As per regulation 16 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, a six week period of consultation will now take place and the Council would like your views.

The Boughton and Dunkirk Neighbourhood Plan has been developed to establish a vision for the two villages, and to help deliver the local communities' aspirations and needs for the life of the plan, up to 2031. It intends to deliver sustainable forms of development and seeks to achieve the goals identified through engagement with the local community.

Taking part

Representations can be made using the representation form and must be returned by Monday 25th July 2022 at 5pm, either by email to Lpcomments@swale.gov.uk or by post to:

Any representations may include a request to be notified of the Council’s decision under regulation 19 in relation to the neighbourhood development plan. These will be passed to an independent examiner at the next stage of the process.

The documents relating to this consultation can be found on the Boughton and Dunkirk Neighbourhood Plan webpage and hard copies are available for inspection via the Parish Clerks. Also available at Boughton-under-Blean Library and Dunkirk Village Hall, for the duration of the consultation.
