Make a Request for Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives a general right of access to all types of recorded information we hold, sets out exemptions from that right and places a number of obligations on public authorities.
We have a publication scheme which sets out the classes of information we hold, how we intend to publish it, and whether we'll charge to access it. The scheme ensures a significant amount of information is available, without the need to request it.
If the information you want isn't available on our website, you may be able to request it.
Make a freedom of information request
If you have a freedom of information question, you can email your request to foi@swale.gov.uk. You'll need to include:
- a description of the information your want
- any particular dates that are applicable
What happens next
Once we've received your request, we'll tell you whether the we hold that information and, subject to exemptions, supply it to you.
