Area Committee Funding Scheme

Applications for the Area Committee Funding Scheme for 2022/23 can no longer be accepted as the deadline has passed.

The area committee funding scheme is an opportunity to support local initiatives and community projects.  Bids were considered at the September round of area committees, however, Sheppey and Eastern area committees have funding remaining and are launching round two of their funding schemes on Monday 10 October 2022 and the deadline for submitting an application is Thursday 3 November 2022 (late bids will not be accepted).  The bids will then be assessed by officers before going to the December 2022 round of area committee meetings for decision.

If you wish to apply the application should clearly set out what the initiative or project is seeking to achieve. It should also describe how the initiative or project will comply with the area committee’s agreed criteria and to contribute to Swale’s strategic priorities, all of which are set out in the guidance notes.
