People will soon be able to use the new toilet facilities in Milton Park country park thanks to a £75,000 investment from Swale Borough Council.

The new modular block toilets will be made up of two unisex cubicles and one disabled cubicle with a grass sedum roof to help it blend in with the surrounding environment.

Work has started to install the new toilets by the play area and will be ready for visitors later this year.

Cllr Tim Valentine, cabinet member for environment at the council, said:

“The new toilets at Milton Creek country park in part of an ongoing program to improve public amenities for residents and visitors around the borough.

“We’ve already refurbished the toilets in Leysdown, Sittingbourne town centre and Faversham central car park this year and hope these new toilets at Milton Creek country park will improve visitors experience.

“We ask that visitors follow the signs in place while work is happening.”
