Next specialist market for Sittingbourne

Do it online

Tuesday 19 December

Sittingbourne's final specialist market of the year

Another new specialist market - the last of 2017 - will be coming to Sittingbourne town centre this Saturday.

Following the phenomenal success of the Sittingbourne artisan market, Swale Borough Council and the Market Co-operative have introduced a range of new specialist and themed markets to the town centre.

The themed markets have been running since August as a complement to the monthly artisan market, which has also now finished for the year. Artisan markets will start up again in March 2018.

Cllr Mike Cosgrove, cabinet member for regeneration at the council, said:

"Traders and shoppers have really supported the Saturday artisan market, and the feedback we’ve had from them shows a real appetite for more.

"The new themed markets have built on the success we’ve had so far, offering residents and visitors a new shopping experience in the heart of the town centre."

Following the Baby Grows market in October and the Shop Local market in November, this Saturday's Christmas market will see stalls offering a tempting range of last-minute gift ideas!

The market will run from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm at the top of the High Street.

To find out more about the markets - or to enquire about trading at either the Sittingbourne Artisan Market or future themed markets in 2018 - please contact Rosalyn Prince on 07867 504842 or by email.
