Guidance on carrying passengers in a Hackney Carriage or Private Hire Vehicle
You and your passengers can’t smoke in a taxi or private hire vehicle. If you do, or you allow a passenger to smoke, you could receive a fine.
You must allow an assistance dog to travel with your passenger if they need it, except if you have medical reasons not to.
