Budget Consultation

This consultation closed at 5pm on Wednesday 8 January.

Every year, the council must set a balanced budget to make sure the money we spend delivering services is in line with the money we have available.

We will set our budget for 2025/26 in February 2025, and we wanted to hear your views on our proposals.

The draft budget for the financial year 2025/26 was presented to our policy and resources committee on 27 November and members agreed to consult on the proposals.

All responses will be used to provide an updated report to the policy and resources committee on Wednesday 5 February 2025, before a final decision on the budget is made by full council on Wednesday 19 February.
