Environment Grants

Swale Borough Council has allocated £15,000 in grant funding to support community projects and organisations help achieve the environmental objectives set out in Swale Borough Council’s Realising our ambitions for Swale - Environment and Liveability. The fund is sourced from littering and fly tipping fixed penalty notices. Therefore, projects must link back to this source of funding and have a positive impact on one or both of these areas in some capacity. The maximum grant for any one project is £4,000.

You can apply for an environmental grant online.

You can download the guidance notes (PDF 185kb).

The funding scheme is now open and will run until the funds have been spent.

A monitoring form must be completed and sent back no later than 3 months after the grant has been paid or following project completion. If you have applied for one of our Environment Grants and have not yet completed a report form, please download the below form to complete and return:

You can download the reporting form (PDF 86kb).
