Environment Grants

Swale Borough Council has allocated £15,000 in grant funding to support community projects and organisations help achieve the environmental objectives set out in Swale Borough Council’s Realising our ambitions for Swale - Environment and Liveability. The fund is sourced from littering and fly tipping fixed penalty notices. Therefore, projects must link back to this source of funding and have a positive impact on one or both of these areas in some capacity. The maximum grant for any one project is £3,000.

You can apply for an environmental grant online.

You can download the guidance notes (PDF 178KB).

A monitoring form must be completed and sent back no later than 3 months after the grant has been paid or following project completion. If you have applied for one of our Environment Grants and have not yet completed a report form, please download the below form to complete and return:

You can download the reporting form (PDF 86kb).
