People and Skills Grants

The People and Skills grants scheme is now closed.

This funding is focused on supporting programmes of activity that will empower local people to engage with skills and employment opportunities that are available in the borough.

Grants of between £1,000 and £20,000 will be available to Swale’s Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise and Faith (VCSEF) sector to deliver activities that work towards the following outcomes:

  • increasing confidence to apply for skills and digital training and further education
  • exploring training and skills and digital development options and education options
  • accessing employment support, providing digital skills qualifications and awarding qualifications or licences

We are encouraging VCSE organisations to come together and make collaborative applications for funding.

This is a discretionary grant scheme, and all decisions are based on our assessment of applications to determine if the required criteria are met.
