We are very sorry to all those affected by delays to waste, recycling and garden collections as the crews get used to new routes and vehicles. We are working with Suez to improve the situation, and we’re providing updates with latest information.

People worrying about the cost of living can get information and advice at a series of roadshows being organised by Swale Borough Council.

With the cost-of-living crisis putting many under increased financial pressure, it is important for local people to be able to access the resources they may need.

The council’s One Swale Roadshows will be the perfect opportunity for organisations that offer support, and those in need of advice, to come together.

The events will host a variety of organisations who people can talk to including Citizens Advice, Department of Works and Pension and Swale Council.

People will be able to receive advice on accessing the Household Support Fund, health checks, emergency fuel and food, finances and much more.

The events have been funded by the UK Government's Household Support Fund.

Cllr Richard Palmer Chair of the Community Committee said;

“We understand how important it is for the community to have access to useful information when they need it.”

“That is why we are hosting these four Roadshows, to bring the people with expert knowledge together with the people who desperately need advice.

“I encourage everyone to take a trip to the roadshows and get expert advice on the issues you are facing.”
