A genuine Victorian cast iron post box, set into the curved brick garden wall at the North West corner of the junction.  A rare and valued survival in its own right, its presence is a visual reminder of the considerable amount of the new housing that was erected in this part of Faversham between the late 1850’s and 1880 and which this post box served.
