Tell us you're moving

You can tell us you’re moving home, online. You’ll need:

• the address and the postcode of your current property
• the address and the postcode of the property you are moving to
• your Council Tax reference number (if you have one)
• your phone number or email address
• your move dates
• details of all occupiers aged over 18 (if your new address is in the Swale area)

If you are a landlord, you can also complete the same form. You’ll need:

• the name and forwarding address of your previous tenant(s) (if applicable)
• the name and previous address of your new tenant(s) (if applicable)
• your Council Tax reference number (if you have one)

• your phone number or email address
• the move dates
• details of your Letting Agent (if applicable)

What happens next

Once you’ve told us you’re moving home, we’ll make any necessary changes to your Council Tax bill and issue any refunds you may be due.
