Premises Licence Minor Variation: Charcoal Grill
This consultation closes on Monday 1 June.
Charcoal Grill have made an application for a minor variation under the Licensing Act 2003.
If their application is successful, Charcoal Grill will:
- install CCTV
- report incidents of crime and disorder to Kent Police
- provide an incident register
Install CCTV
Charcoal Grill will provide a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition.
Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises, fire exits and all areas where licensable activity occurs.
Equipment must be maintained in good working order, be correctly time and date stamped, recordings must be kept on the hard drive and kept for a period of 31 days and handed to Police upon reasonable request.
The premises license holder must ensure at all times that a member of staff is capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a recordable format and is provided to the Police and Local Authority upon reasonable request.
In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment the premises license holder or DPS must report the failure to the Police Licensing Officer within 24 hours.
Reporting incidents of crime and disorder
All incidents of crime and disorder to be reported to Kent Police.
Provide an incident register
An incident register is to be kept at the premises and produced to an authorised person upon reasonable request. The details of the incident will include:
