Review of Premises Licence: Langs Bar

This consultation closes on Tuesday 14 October.

Application for the review of a premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 for the following reasons:

Prevention of Crime and Disorder – failure to comply with entry controls and security conditions; irresponsible “bottomless cocktails” drinks promotion contrary to the mandatory licensing conditions
Public Safety – significant unresolved fire safety hazards including locked fire exits, defective alarm systems, and lack of staff fire safety training
Prevention of Public Nuisance – repeated and ongoing noise disturbance affecting nearby residents and hotel guests; failure to implement a dispersal or wind-down policy
Protection of Children from Harm – concerns that age verification (Challenge 25) is not being consistently applied, with under-age appearing individuals seen consuming alcohol
