Report fly-tipping

Use this service to tell us that you've seen waste that's been left in an inappropriate area.

Fly-tipping is a serious offence and you should call 999 if you see it happening.

Before you get started

To report fly tipping, you'll need:

  • the location of the waste
  • the type of waste that's been dumped
  • the date you noticed the waste
  • your full name and postcode
  • an email address

You can include photographs of the waste if you have them.

What happens next

Once we've received your report, we'll:

  • arrange to have the rubbish cleared within 10 working days if the fly tipping has taken place on public land
  • update you on the progress of any investigation
