Ask us to change the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS)

Use this service to change the details of your existing designated premises supervisor (DPS).

To change an existing DPS, you'll need to:

You'll also need the existing DPS to download, complete and return the consent form (PDF 71KB).

You must also send us the existing premises licence. If you’re:

  • also the premises licence holder, you must include the premises licence or a statement explaining why you can’t provide it
  • the DPS, you must tell the premises licence holder to send us the premises licence within 14 days of your request

If the premises licence can’t be sent to us, the premises licence holder must send us a statement explaining why. If they don’t, they could receive a fine.

What happens next

Your application will be sent to Kent Police for consultation.

If they have an objection to your application, then we will hold a hearing of the licensing panel to determine your application.

If they have no objections, the licence will be issued with the appropriate amendments.
