Betting Premises Licence
Transfer a licence
Use this service to transfer an existing betting premises licence to yourself.
To transfer a betting premises licence, you’ll need to:
- download, complete and return a form (PDF 281kb)
- pay £1,200 online
Once you’ve completed your form, email it to our Licensing team at licensing@swale.gov.uk. You should include:
- your existing premises licence
- a written statement from the existing licence holder, consenting to the transfer
What happens next
Once we’ve received your application to transfer your betting premises licence, we’ll run a public consultation.
You may need to publish a notice, stating your intention to transfer your licence.
If your application is:
- successful, we’ll send you your licence, together with any conditions we set
- unsuccessful, we’ll write to you to let you know
