Accessing the beach
Our beaches run from near Sheerness Docks to easterly most end of the Isle of Sheppey. We’re responsible for coastline and beaches at:
- Sheerness
- Marine Parade
- Leysdown
- Warden Bay
- Minster Leas
- Shellness
- Rushenden
We’re not responsible for the two private beaches on the Isle of Sheppey at Loves Beach and Central Beach, and there are sections of private beach near the Shellness Hamlet above the mean high tide level. Signs on site provide further information on the boundaries of the private beaches.
