Nominate land or property

Use this service if you’re a a parish council, unincorporated group, neighbourhood forum or a community interest group and you want to nominate a building or land to be included in our list of assets of community value.

The building or land you're nominating should be being used for the social wellbeing, cultural, recreational or sporting interests of the local community.

You can nominate a community asset online. You’ll need:

• a description of the asset you're nominating
• information about the leaseholders or freeholders
• the number of members who belong to the group
• an email address

What happens next

Once we’ve received your nomination, we’ll decide whether it's suitable with 8 weeks of receiving your completed application.

If your nomination is successful, we’ll:

• tell you
• include it in our list of assets of community value, which is published online
