New play equipment for New Road playground in Minster

There’s new play equipment for New Road playground in Minster after Swale Borough Council completed £20,000’s worth of improvements to the popular local park.
Councillors from the Sheppey Area Committee agreed to fund the improvements that have seen new equipment installed along with safety surfacing.
A new low platform roundabout and a zip wire have been installed and are already proving popular with local families.
These additions follow maintenance work done last year to repair and repaint the much-loved play equipment.
