Dedicated vehicle bays
Dedicated vehicle bays
Use this service to if you need a parking bay installed for a particular type of vehicle, including:
- Coastguard
- Doctor
- Motorcycle
It can take up to 12 months to install a parking bay.
You may need to pay a fee to have a bay installed. The fee you’ll pay will be based on your circumstances.
Before you get started
To request a bay, you’ll need to email our engineering team at engineers@swale.gov.uk. You’ll need to include:
- the location of the bay
- your name and address

What happens next
Once we’ve received your request, we’ll respond within 14 working days.
Once we’ve received your request, we’ll run a public consultation which allows people to give us their comments, concerns or objections.
If your request is successful, you’ll receive an invoice to pay for the bay.
