Volunteering Strategy
Swale has a strong voluntary and community sector that often relies on the use of volunteers to be able to deliver local services. In recent years there has also been a growing use of volunteers across the public and private sectors.
This Volunteering Strategy sets out a strategic approach for us to increase volunteering within Swale, working in partnership with other volunteer-involving organisations. It aims to ensure voluntary and community sector organisations are supported, increase use of volunteers by public and private sector organisations and promote the good work of existing volunteers.
