Deputy Mayor of Swale
Deputy Mayor of Swale, Cllr Angela Harrison.
Born and raised in Sheerness, Councillor Angela Harrison has dedicated four decades to representing her local community. Residents first elected her to serve the Sheerness West Ward on Swale Borough Council in May 1984.
Cllr Harrison currently chairs the council’s Standards Committee and serves as the Vice-Chair for the Housing, Health and Communities Committee. She previously served as the Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, and she actively supports the community as a governor for the Medway Maritime Hospital.
Away from her council duties, Cllr Harrison enjoys relaxing at home in Sheerness. She is a keen gardener who grows her own vegetables, and she enjoys reading
