Export Health Certificates
Applying for the first time
Use this service to apply for an export health certificate (EHC) for the first time.
You’ll need to pay £302 to apply for an EHC for the first time.
Before you get started
To apply for an EHC for the first time, you’ll need to email our Food and Safety Team on ehadmin@midkent.gov.uk. You’ll need to include:
- the name of your business
- a description of the product you’re going to export
- where you’re exporting your products to
- when you will be exporting the products

What happens next
Once you’ve contacted the Food and Safety Team, we’ll send you an application form .
Once you’ve completed your form, you’ll need to make a payment before we can process your application.
