Ways to pay your Council Tax

Cheque
You can make a payment towards your Council Tax account by cheque. You’ll need to:
- make the cheque payable to ‘Swale Borough Council’
- write the Council Tax account number on the back
Once you've written your cheque, post it to:
- Council Tax
- Swale Borough Council

- East Street
- Sittingbourne
- Kent
- ME10 3HT
You’ll need to allow seven working days for your payment to show on your Council Tax account.
What happens next
Once your cheque has cleared and your payment is showing on your Council Tax account, we’ll send you a receipt.
