Appeal
Use this service if you’ve applied to register a new road name, your application has been processed and you’re not satisfied with our response.
You’ll need to appeal within five working days of receiving our response.
To appeal, you’ll need to write to:
- parish council, if the road you’re naming is in a parish council area
- ward councillor, if the road you’re naming isn’t in a parish council area
We’ll aim to respond to your appeal within 28 days.
If you’re still not satisfied
If you’ve already made an appeal, you’ve received our response, and you’re still not satisfied, you can make a formal complaint within 30 days of receiving our response to your appeal.
