Statement of Community Involvement

The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out our approach for involving the community and statutory partners in the preparation and revision of development plan documents and planning applications.

February 2021 update

As a result of the previous coronavirus (Covid-19) guidance, the Council produced an SCI Addendum, which set out temporary changes in respect of the inspection of planning policy documents.  The temporary SCI Addendum applied while Covid-19 restrictions were in place.
