Making a request
Use this service if you want to request information that we haven’t already published.
Before making a request please check to see if the information you need has already been published on the Council’s website.
Before you get started
To request information that we haven’t published, you need to put your request in writing either by email foi@swale.gov.uk or by letter addressed to:
- Freedom of Information Officer
- Swale Borough Council
- Swale House
- East Street
- Sittingbourne
- Kent
- ME10 3HT
You can also make requests on social media.
You’ll need to include:
- your real name and a postal or email address so we can reply to you.
- a clear description of the information being requested.
You do not have to include
- any reference to the Freedom of Information Act, although it can help.
- the reason why you want the information
What happens next
We’ll respond in writing within 20 days of receiving a valid submission.
