Apply for a re-inspection
Use this service if you've received a rating of between one and four stars, you've made improvements based on the inspector's report and you'd like us to inspect your premises again, known as a re-inspection.
You'll need to pay £112 for a re-inspection.
A re-inspection doesn't mean you'll necessarily get a higher star rating and the length of your existing licence could be reduced.
You can request as many re-inspections as you want but you'll need to pay for each one.
Before you get started
To ask us to re-inspect your premises, you'll need to email our animal licensing team at animallicensing@swale.gov.uk. You'll need to include:
- the improvements you've made since your last inspection
- any evidence you have that you've made improvements
For alternative ways to contact our animal licensing team, you can visit our contact us page.
What happens next
We'll arrange to carry out your re-inspection within three months of receiving your request. We can't issue a new star rating until we've inspected your premises.
