Use this service to make changes to an existing road name, including where:

  • there's a spelling mistake
  • there's been a mistake on the land registry
  • it's considered inappropriate
  • it has had a negative historical significance

You’ll need to pay a fee to complete your application.

Before you get started

To change the name of an existing road, you’ll need to download, complete and return the application form (PDF 157KB). You’ll need:

  • the existing name of the property
  • the property’s postcode

Once you've completed your application, you'll need to email it to streetnamingnumbering@midkent.gov.uk.

What happens next
