Appeal
You can appeal if we've:
- refused your application
- imposed a condition you don't agree with
- served you with a Notice and you don't agree with it
To appeal, you'll need to download, complete and return an appeal form. You'll need to email your completed form to the Planning Inspectorate at environment.appeals@pins.gsi.gov.uk. Alternatively, you can write to:
- Environment Team
- The Planning Inspectorate
- Room 3/H Hawk Wing
- Temple Quay House
- 2 The Square
- Temple Quay
- Bristol
- BS1 6PN
You'll also need to send a copy of your appeal to the Environmental Protection team at ehadmin@midkent.gov.uk. You'll need to include:
- the reason you're appealing, including whether you want your appeal to be in the form of a hearing or not
- a copy of your environmental permit
- a copy of any decision or notice which relates to you appeal
You must appeal within six months of receiving a decision, unless you're appealing:
- a notice to revoke your licence, when you must appeal before it's revoked
- because we've withdrawn your application, when you must appeal with 15 working days
- a notice or variation we've applied, when you must appeal no later than two months after the date of the variation or notice, or 21 days if you're appealing a prohibition notice
What happens next
Once we've received your appeal, we'll notify anyone who is, or may be, affected by the appeal.
