Public spaces protection orders

Alcohol

If you’re drinking alcohol and you’re suspected of anti-social behaviour in one of four areas in Swale, an authorised officer, could:

  • take your alcohol away
  • issue you with a fine

You could also be arrested.

  • Sheerness Town Centre
  • Leysdown
  • Sittingbourne Town Centre
  • Faversham Town Centre

Fine

You’ll receive a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) of £100 if you don't give an authorised officer your alcohol when asked to.
