Gating alleyways
Public spaces protection orders are in place to restrict access to alleyways:
- between Galway Road, Winstanley Road, Coronation Road and Invicta Road in Sheerness
- at the entrance of the alleyway at the far end rear of Elm Grove to Coombe Drive
Residents of these roads have keys to allow them access. You can buy replacement or additional keys.

This PSPOs apply to the alleyway at the rear of numbers:
- 2 to number 46, Galway Road
- 39 to number 87 Winstanley Road
- 150 to number 168 Invicta Road
- 26 to number 44 Coronation Road

Sittingbourne
The Sittingbourne PSPOs apply to the alleyway at the entrance of the alleyway at the far end rear of Elm Grove and 79 Coombe Drive, along the alleyway to the rear of 109 Coombe Drive extending to the garage rear that boarder the alleyway to 104 Coombe drive.

Exceptions
Theses orders don't apply to you if you’re:
- the owner of a property adjacent to or adjoining the alleyway
- fire and rescue service, Police or NHS Trust or NHS Foundation staff carrying out their duties
- an employee of a utility company such as BT or British Gas who is carry out their work
- council staff or Council contractors carry out your duties
- using the alleyway with the Council’s permission
