Tell us you've lost your dog
You should call:
- our customer services team on 01795 417850 between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Thursdays or between 9am and 1pm Fridays
- the out of hours service on 07795 237479 weekdays between 5pm and 9pm or between 9am and 9pm weekends
There is no stray dog service on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Easter Sunday or Bank Holidays.
If you lost your dog near the boundary with another Council, they may have collected it instead.
If you call outside of the hours listed above, an officer will contact you the next working day.
If we have already found your dog, we may have sent it to the kennels. If we find your dog straying more than once, we’ll take it straight to the kennels and you may need to pay a fee to get it back.
