Club Premises Certificates

Apply

To apply for a club premises certificate, you’ll need to complete an application form and pay a fee.

You’ll need to visit GOV.UK to apply for a club premises certificate. You will also need to download, complete and return a declaration (PDF 159kb).

You can return your declaration separately to licensing@swale.gov.uk.

Fee

You can use our calculator to work out how much you'll pay for your club premises certificate.

The fee you'll need to pay depends on the rateable value and capacity of your club.

You can find your club's rateable value by visiting the GOV.UK website.

You're a band:

  • A if your club doesn't have a rateable value, or it's less than £4,300
  • B if your rateable value is between £4,300 and £33,000
  • C if your rateable value is between £33,001 and £87,000
  • D if your rateable value is between £87,001 and £125,000
  • E if your rateable value is £125,001 or more

Once you know your band, your fee will depend on whether you're renewing an existing club premises certificate, or applying for one for the first time.

You may also need to pay an additional fee, if the capacity of your club is 5,000 or more.
