Relief for local newspapers

You may be entitled to a discount of up to £1,500 per year on your business rates if the premises is occupied by a local newspaper.

Applying

To apply for business rates relief if you're a newspaper, you'll need to email the business rates team at ndr@swale.gov.uk. You'll need to include:

  • your business rates reference number
  • the address of your premises
