Business rate relief
Partly occupied premises
If the property is only partially occupied, you may be entitled to a reduction in your business rates based on the unoccupied part of the property.

Applying
To apply for a reduction in your business rates on a partially occupied premises, you'll need to email the business rates team at ndr@swale.gov.uk. You'll need to include:
- your business rates reference number
- the address of your premises

Once we’ve received your application, we’ll assess it and let you know the outcome within 21 days.
