To apply for a family entertainment centre gaming machine permit, you’ll need to:

Once you’ve completed your form, email it to our Licensing team at licensing@swale.gov.uk.

What happens next

Once we’ve received your application for a family entertainment centre gaming machine permit, we’ll run a public consultation.

You may need to publish a notice, stating your intention to apply for a permit.

If your application is:

  • successful, we’ll send you your permit, together with any conditions we set
  • unsuccessful, we’ll write to you to let you know

If your permit comes into effect on:

  • the date it’s issued, you’ll need to pay your first annual fee within 30 days of that date
  • a date after it’s issued, you’ll need to pay your first annual fee by that date, within 30 days or within 12 months, whichever is sooner
