Renting a beach hut

Use this service if you want to rent a beach hut.

Before you can rent a beach hut, you must join the beach hut waiting list and pay a waiting list deposit. You'll need to pay a waiting list deposit of:

Once you've joined the beach hut waiting list, we'll contact you if a beach hut becomes available.

You'll have two weeks to accept our offer of a beach hut. If you don't reply to us within two weeks, we may offer it to someone else.

You'll need to pay a key deposit of £35 if you accept an offer to rent a beach hut.

The current rental cost is £1,600. This is reviewed each year.

You'll receive an invoice for your rent once a year. You'll receive your first invoice when you accept our offer of a beach hut.

Beach hut tenancies are annual. You can end your tenancy, but you must give us notice.

You must give us four week's notice to end your tenancy.

If you end your tenancy early you won't receive a refund for the remaining months.
