We are currently experiencing problems with payments for parking penalty charge notices online. You can still pay by calling the phone number on your PCN. If this affects your ability to pay within a deadline, please contact parking@swale.gov.uk

Making a payment
Some services may allow you to pay by phone, cheque or in person.
Phone
If you need to make a payment by phone, you should contact customer services for things like:
- Council Tax
- benefits
- bins, including garden waste subscriptions
If you need to make a payment by phone for other services, including licensing or planning, you should contact them directly.
Cheque
If you need to make a payment by cheque, you should make it payable to Swale Borough Council. You should include at least one of the following:
- any relevant reference numbers on the back, like an existing licence or benefit reference number, for example
- a description of the service you're paying for, like 'application for a pleasure boat licence'
If you pay by cheque, you will need to wait until it has cleared before we can complete any process, including issuing refunds or completing applications.
In person
You can pay for certain services by visiting our offices. We don't accept cash payments anymore so you'll need a debit or credit card to make a payment in person.
