Collect a sharps box
Use this service if you:
- already have a sharps box
- your sharps box is full
- you need your sharps box collecting from your home
This service is for residential properties only.
If you don't have a sharps box, you should contact your GP to get one. We don't deliver them. We only empty them.
Free collections
Each household receives two free collections per year between 1 April, and 31 March.
Once the two free collections have been used you'll need to pay £3.80 for each collection you book.

You can book a collection for a sharps box online.
You’ll need your address, including your postcode.
What happens next
Once you've contacted us we’ll aim to collect your clinical or sharps waste within 7 days.
Collection days are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The day we collect your sharps box will depend on where you live.
